The ground floor of the building is earmarked for five commercial properties in the porticoes, which will create a backdrop for the new pedestrian piazza, paved in local stone according to Ligurian tradition. Given its central location, Nuovo Borgo is the main location around which the social life of Borgo Cavi is centred, the most magnificent corner of the Municipality of Lavagna. All of the commercial spaces have large windows made from thermally insulated aluminium frames and clear safety glass panels. The five units come in various sizes, measuring from 60 m2 to 100 m2.

Borgo Cavi is one of the most renowned tourist spots on the Gulf of Tigullio, one of the most striking locations on the Liguria coastline. The year-round mild and pleasant climate ensures prolonged tourist seasons and constantly high numbers of passers-by.  The entire area is characterised by a socio-economic context with high spending power.
